Enjoy Spectacular Sculptures on London Ontario‘s Tree Trunk Tour. Truly a one of a kind walking tour, this incredible cooperative art project transforms unhealthy trees into works of art everyone can enjoy for free. Before artists begin, the trees are carefully cut to maximise their potential; then, with chainsaws and other carving tools, they are shaped into stunning sculptures. One of the first trees you’ll see on the tour is at 382 King street; it is called Donohue’s Canadiana and features a number of birds and animals as well as beautiful images of Canada’s most iconic plant life. Along the way, you’ll also see school mascots and tributes to city leaders, and near the information centre at 391 Wellington Street, you’ll be able to enjoy a close encounter with a sculpture called Mother Nature, and another called Eldon House. Each sculpture takes artists approximately four weeks to complete; once finished, the artwork is painted or stained, then coated with polyurethane to protect it from the elements.

If you’ve visited in the past, you’ll be thrilled to find that the centre has been renovated; there is a towering forty foot rock wall to climb, an 18 hole mini golf course that glows in the dark for lights out entertainment, and 52 lanes of five and ten pin bowling, to name only a few top attractions. With over 58,000 square feet of indoor fun, this family entertainment centre is great for all ages.
